Is The Ideal PC For People The ASUS Essentio CM1630-08?

ASUS Essentio CM1630-08:Best Pc For You Personally?

Are you just getting started in the pc world? It is tough to make it these days without possessing a computer. The big question is what computer system do I need? With many different types of PC's in the marketplace, exactly how do I choose? What can make a computer a wonderful computer for me personally? Since this is your very first computer, you probably do not know anything about the technological know-how of the systems. That is, reading off a laundry list of technology specifications may mean absolutely zip to you. All you want to understand is if it will function, and is it affordable to my budget.

Almost certainly the best beginner desktop computer currently is the ASUS Essentio CM1630-08. It is a bare-bones pc system that will not break your budget, and will give you a base to develop with. It has many expansion ports but it doesn't have the latest high end technologies like USB 3.0 or eSATA. For most rookies, the new technology does not matter since it is not quite in the mainstream yet. Having a simple and affordable computer system is probably the best option if you are just getting started. This desktop computer will have all the fundamentals as you gradually understand the ins and outs of computing.

The ASUS Essentio CM1630-08 has a vintage PC design and comes with typical PC features. The PC casing is black along with metal sides and reflective faceplate. There is an indented, plastic-type material mesh tray that will hold hard drives, and other devices. At the top of the computer's face are easy-to-access ports, consisting of 4 USB 2.0 ports and audio jacks.

There is a DVD drive that sits below the USB ports and you will find an extra bay to integrate another hard drive. The back of the PC has a lot more ports for you to connect some other devices. You will find an ethernet port for networking, VGA port for video, HDMI to connect to an HDTV, and additional USB ports.

The ASUS Essentio CM1630-08 Desktop has an appealing simple layout with a large hard drive. It's HDMI video port allows you to view 1080p video but the functionality is not as good as other PC's that are less expensive. It is one of the best of the living-room-friendly home pc computers with a slender tower. It includes the right mix of features and is also robust enough. It comes all set to stick next to your tv, and you will have no good reason not to, with its built-in wireless networking capacity.

There are quite a few slim tower PC's that are built to be HDTV companions in the living room. The ASUS Essentio CM1630-08 is priced more than similar competing models including the Dell Inspirn 530s or the HP Pavilion Slimline s3500f. The proper way to determine the best PC for you is to match the functionality versus price for each system. You can also locate people who own these systems to see if they were satisfied with their purchase. I might inform you that I love the ASUS Essentio CM1630-08, and it operates great. But then you may buy it, and find that it wasn't what you were searching for. Seriously though, it is a very reliable computer for beginners and many are completely satisfied with it.

Asus Memo 370T changes the game by offering four cores for the price of two (Albuquerque Journal)

The quad core Memo 370T will launch in the 2nd quarter for $250. I like where
this is going.

LAS VEGAS--On Monday, Nvidia and Asus teased a product that may change
everything. At the Nvidia press conference the companies flashed that a quad
core, Tegra 3-based 7-inch tablet would soon be released for only $250.

The tablet in question actually turned out to be the Asus MeMO 370T. An
upgraded version of the 7-inch stylus-supported MeMO tablet Asus debuted at
CES 2011.

While the previous version ran on Honeycomb and utilized a dual core Qualcomm
8260-1.2Ghz CPU, the 370T will ship with Ice Cream Sandwich and houses a quad
core Tegra 3. No word yet on the actual speed of the processor though. The
previously announced stylus peripheral has been dropped for the device.

The 370T comes with 1GB of RAM and at least 16GB of storage. It also sports a
1280x800, IPS screen that delivered smoothly-scrolling menus. Holding it in my
hands, the tablet felt and looked very similar, dimensionally, to the Acer
Iconia Tab A100. The 370T even hits the typical-for-a-7-inch-tablet weight of
0.88 pounds, right on the nose.
