Which is over $500 cheaper, and has similar performance, the HP is really a rip off. First of all, the video card isn't that great...the 300 series is just a rebrand of older 200 series chips. The i7 820 is a great processor, but the performance difference between it and the i7 720 is minimal. Also, there is nothing special about the other components, no blu ray drive, no full HD screen, etc. Furthermore, I caution against buying any HP laptop because their motherboard quality has sunk like a rock. Most break within two years, and require replacement...trust me...I've done quite a few repairs on out-of-warranty HP laptops....
