It was a resonably short day for conferences leaving Sony to finish off the day with some more massive game announcements, some new tech for the Playstation 3 and finally, a new console announcement.

You can expect to see the following PS3 releases in the near future:

As for hardware announcements, they announced that they are developing some technology similar to the Wii. The new motion technology requires 2 controllers, similar to the Wii except it uses a camera, just like Project Natal. They hope that they will be able to incorporate this tech into many of their games aswell as games purposely created for the controllers.

Sony's conference was ended with the announcement of the PSP Go, a new compact console. The new PSP Go is basically a smaller and lighter version of the current PSP, but with a slide up screen that uncovers the controls. The new PSP Go will contain an internal flash drive which will store all your games, meaning you don't have to carry discs out with you. It also contains build in WiFi, Bluetooth and a slot for a flash drive to gain extra storage space.

That was the end of all the conferences for the major developers and publishers, however, I'm sure all of the above will keep us busy enough until the 2010 E3.
