question about a video card?
i just bought a ATI Radeon X1300 DVI PCI video card on ebay and my only monitor is one that uses VGA, which means i dont have DVI, the video card has a VGA port so does it mean i can use this card to play games with a monitor that uses VGA?? because this card does have a VGA port but it seems isolated from the rest of the equipment and it has a wire that isnt plugged in (the gray wires that come out of it)

Yes you are correct in that you can play games with the card.
You can also buy a DVI (Digital Video Interface) connector that will plug into the Blue VGA fitting.
As to what the grey wire is, I would recommend that you go to the web site of the video card manufacturer and find the EXACT same card and find out what the grey wire is for and where about it connects too.
