All You Need To Know About PS3 Controllers
Introducing the PlayStation 3, commonly known as PS3 and created by Sony computer Entertainment. The PlayStation 3 puts up strong competition to Nintendo's Wii and Microsoft's Xbox 360 as part of the 7th era of computer game consoles. The wireless Sixaxis and DualShock 3 comprise the two PS3 controllers sold currently.
The title 'Sixaxis' is a merging of 'six axis' which implies directional movements. It's also used to signify motion sensitive functions. These remote PS3 controllers can function for upto thirty hours by charging them to the full capacity. The battery is entirely removable and Sixaxis are provided with the notes of the simplest way to go about the method.
An impressive function of Sixaxis PS3 controllers is their capability to interpret both translational acceleration and rotational orientation along all 3-D plains.
All Sixaxis PS3 controllers have LED lights on the side. On the apex of the controller you will find numbered LED outlet indicators which are four in number. The indicators recognise and distinguish multiple wireless PS3 controllers. As you switch on the PS3, one can access the menu showing the battery charge of all PS3 controllers which are in synchronization, by pressing the PS button. This is only one of the options shown on the menu
The PS3 controllers employ finer analog sensitivity than DualShock two, which is the immediate predecessor to DualShock 3 mentioned previously. These increase the 8 bit reception of the DualShock 2 to a ten bit reception. The shell beneath the L2 and R2 commands has been done away with and converted into triggers. The range of travel decides the degree of analog input rather than the range of pressure. There is a jewel like PS button with the PlayStation logo in place of the Analog function button which is found on earlier dual analog releases. This allows these controllers to change inputs, turn the consoles or controllers on or off, access the home screen, and so on.
Next, The DualShock 3 is a vibration controller by Sony for PS3. The DualShock 3 was primarily pioneered as a secondary peripheral for the original PlayStation. An enhanced PlayStation release came with the controller originally built into the Sony dual Analog Controller. The DualShock 3 wireless PS3 controllers include all the features of Sixaxis along with vibration technology.

plugs directly into the device's USB port, giving gamers an eight button
solution, plus a PSP-like analog stick. It's a handy, albeit ugly, add-on
that'll help get your gaming heros of old through well trodden enemy lines.
