My sister bought sims 3 and I plan on installing it but my computer can't even handle sims 3. My computer has 1.2GB RAM & I'm pretty sure it has to do with the graphics card or video card (maybe both). My computers pretty old, Acer Aspire S280. Its motherboard is an E661GXM. Heres some more info-

Yes. Your card's pretty old, I don't even think that model is DirectX 9 compatible. It might be a good idea into looking to get more RAM - 1.2GB should be enough to play the game at a minimum level, although you would probably benefit from more RAM as well as a new card if you want to play The Sims 3.
Seeming your card is old, you might have a bit of trouble upgrading. I'd guess that your card is AGP (x4/x8) and most new graphics cards are PCI-E x16, so you might need a new motherboard.
